Since December of last year, BuzzFeed Tasty has been the No. 1 most-watched video creator across YouTube, Facebook, Vine and Instagram, according to Tubular Labs’ monthly video rankings. Last month, Unilad finally broke Tasty’s streak and took the No. 1 spot with 2.7 billion views, winning nearly a billion more video views than BuzzFeed’s food-focused video channel.
In fact, Unilad and The Lad Bible both outperformed Tasty, dropping it down to No. 3 on Tubular’s top 10 list of most-watched video creators in July.
Following Unilad at No. 1, The Lad Bible earned 2.3 billion views. Tasty generated 1.7 billion views, less than the 1.8 billion it earned in June.
Tubular reports the top 100 video creators generated a combined 48.5 billion views last month, a 20-percent jump over June’s total video views.
