Email Marketing Platform Mailjet Raises $11 Million Series B Financing

Mailjet, an email marketing platform founded in 2010, has announced an $11 million Series B funding round that the company will use to expand its operations in North America, Southern Europe and the Nordic states, and also to expand its lineup of marketing and transactional email tools.

The company has also announced a series of performance milestones:

  1. 32,000 active customers in 150 countries

  2. 75 percent customer growth in the past year

  3. more than 15 billion emails sent through its platform

“Email is a consistent channel of communication that everyone uses and we’re only just seeing its evolution into an even more personalized, customer­-driven medium,” said Mailjet CEO Alexis Renard in today’s announcement. “We’re looking forward to being a part of this evolution and to continue building out the Mailjet brand into a global force.”

This funding round is led by Iris Capital, with returning investor Alven Capital and new investor Seventure also involved.
