YouTube is working on multiple new updates for creators, and wants their feedback before rolling out the new features.
According to the video, creators will eventually have access to a mobile app that lets them manage their channel from their phone.
YouTube is also investigating new monetization opportunities through ad revenue, and making it possible for fans to fund creators via their YouTube channels.
Creator product management director Matt Glotzbach mentioned new crowd-sourced caption capabilities as well, “We’re working on a community captions project that would allow you to let the power of the crowd caption your content and translate that into 60 different languages.”
Other updates outlined in the video include new Creator Academy content, the ability to monetize mash-up and cover song videos, and more royalty free tracks and sound effects included in YouTube’s audio library.
Posted earlier this week, the video says the new features will begin rolling out in the coming months, and is asking creators to leave feedback in the video’s comments section, or on Google+ and Twitter.
