Most of us wish we could lose a little weight from time to time. Sometimes we put our mind to it and succeed. Other times, life gets in the way and that spare tire or muffin top begins to rear its ugly head.
That’s when Weight Watchers wants our attention.
To garner that attention and refresh interest in Weight Watchers in Australia, digital agency Reactive launched a multi-faceted campaign called Awaken Your Incredible. As part of the campaign, Reactive developed Incredible You, a partnership with Getty images that allows people to create short slide shows which highlight their “incredibleness.”
Reactive worked with Getty Images to optimize the image service’s API. After visiting the Incredible You site and answering several questions about one’s life, the user is provided free access to selected photographs from the Getty Images library. The user can then select the images that most appeal to them which are then used to fashion a “cinematic representation of their incredibleness.” From there, the images can be easily shared with friends, family and the world through social media.
To snare the project, Reactive created a working prototype of Incredible You in just 12 hours which enabled Weight Watchers and Getty Images to quickly solidify the deal.
Within the Incredible You site, visitors can view galleries created by others or immediately begin answering questions that will formulate the basis of their “incredibleness.” The end result is an auto-magically created video that incorporates the chosen images, the answered questions along with a music track.
Below is the video that kicked off the original Awaken Your Incredible campaign.
Have you seen a great piece of creative that’s worthy of sharing? If so, we’d love to highlight it here. Please send submissions to cod@marketingland.com.
