The big digital media players are in New York for the ongoing, annual NewFronts event, where they pitch Madison Avenue advertisers to shift more money from traditional sources (like TV) to online video. YouTube’s pitch included a number of interesting stats and data points, and some new video ad products. That was the lead topic in our latest weekly episode of Marketing Land Live.

We also talked about the growth of digital assistants/bots and the challenges that brands are facing in training these tools to be useful to consumers, the latest Twitter news and a new ad blocker development … and more! Marketing Land’s Barry Levine, Tim Peterson and Danny Sullivan joined me for this week’s show, which runs about 62 minutes. You can watch the replay below. Be sure to scroll below the video for this week’s Show Notes, with links to the stories we talked about.

We record new episodes of Marketing Land Live every Friday at 12:00 p.m. ET / 9:00 a.m. PT on Blab, so we hope you’ll make plans to join us live in the future.
