Vine had a big day yesterday, being launched on Android. But now, Twitter’s short-video sharing app has gone to new heights, as Twitter chairman Jack Dorsey used it to document his climb up the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge today.

It began here:

About to do something very interesting. vine.co/v/b3TrrJ7UbXb — Jack Dorsey (@jack) June 4, 2013

And away he went, tweeting and vining the journey:

Vine has seen many interesting marketing uses from companies such as Lowe’s and its #lowesfixinsix videos, such as this one below:

Glue a magnet to the bottom of your hammer to keep your nails within reach. #lowesfixinsix #Vine vine.co/v/bYwYLQBKwW1 — Lowe’s (@Lowes) June 2, 2013

I’m not sure that many companies will be able to match climbing a famous bridge, but it is yet another way the new sharing tool is getting put to use.
