UNILAD kept its lead for the second month in a row on Tubular’s top ten list of most watched video creators in August. Earning 2.9 billion video views across YouTube, Facebook, Vine and Instagram in August, UNILAD’s total videos views were up from the 2.7 billion it generated in July.
The Lad Bible was close behind at No. 2 with 2.6 billion views, also keeping its ranking on the chart from July to August.
Tasty, BuzzFeed’s food-centric video channel, earned 1.9 billion views in August, up from the 1.7 billion it generated in July. After holding at No. 1 for the first six months of 2016, Tasty fell to No. 3 in July.
Another notable creator on last month’s top ten list includes a debut from Viral Thread, an entertainment channel that broke into the chart at No. 4.
Top 10 Video Creators in August 2016
Looking at the top brand video creators, Red Bull kept its lead, followed by Instagram at No. 2. The two brands’ video view numbers were much closer last month after Red Bull saw a drop from 309 million video views in July to 212 million in August. Meanwhile, Instagram’s numbers rose by 18 million, reaching more than 191 million views in August.
Lego continued to fall – dropping from No. 3 in July to No. 4 in August. Samsung moved up five spots since July to take the No. 3 spot behind Red Bull and Instagram.
