Leaked: Google Analytics Is Making Its Way To Google+

Google Analytics has continually beefed up with social data and full Google+ integration may be right around the corner.  The Dutch website Dutchcowboys found some official (and confidential) slides from an official Google deck showing how to connect a Google+ page with Google Analytics.  In addition, Arvid Bux discovered the full confidential deck showing more screens about the full integration of + & Analytics.

The slides show a very simple integration between Google+ and Analytics that occurs by entering one’s analytics code to a new tab in your page’s settings.  This works with current Google Analytics tracking, or a new GA account can be created directly within Google+.

The total number of visits, pageviews, average time on the site and bounce rate will reportedly be measured.  Users can also see analytics directly within Google+ buy clicking on a new top navigation button (next to circles).  Currently there is no way to track any Google+ page activity other than viewing post sharing, “social engagement” or +1/share data.
