At 10am PT today, Apple’s holding a major product event called “See & Touch,” where the “iPad HD” is largely expected to be launched. There’s no live stream, so if you want real-time coverage, you’ll need to follow one of the live blogs below.
So far, here are places I’ve found with live blogging pages already up (the order is simply in the order I spotted pages):
Engadget (this is a live blog of other live blogs; they’re not there)
We couldn’t get into the event, though we’re hopeful we’ll be able to make future ones. We will provide post-event coverage of announcements that are made.
Postscript: The event is now done. Apple TV is upgraded to 1080p. Apple press release is here.
The new iPad is apparently still called the iPad, which may mean an end to the number we’ve had in the past. That fits in with what happens with the iPod and Macs. It also means it’s less likely people will get upset if no “iPhone 5” ever appears. New iPad starts at $499, has high-res screen as the major new feature, along with 4G LTE. iPad 2 drops to $399. Press release is here.
