Leonardo DiCaprio can stand up and shout today that he’s the “King of Twitter!”

His win for Best Actor at Sunday night’s Academy Awards set a new record, with 440,000 tweets per minute, making it the most-tweeted minute of any Oscars telecast. It shattered the previous record of 255,000 tweets per minute, which was set in 2014 when Ellen Degeneres took that famous group selfie with a number of Hollywood stars.

Overall, Twitter says there were a little more than 24 million Oscar-related tweets over a 7 1/2-hour period before, during and after the ceremony, and those tweets resulted in 3.9 billion impressions across Twitter’s platform and the web.

That’s comparable, but a little less than the 27 million tweets and 4.3 billion impressions that Twitter self-reported after the Super Bowl earlier this month.
