Wondering what advertising agencies you should be following on Twitter? We just saved you a few hours of work, with our new Marketing Land list of major ad agencies on Twitter.
How To Follow These Top Ad Agencies
Want to follow individual agencies? See the member list here, then click “Follow” for the ones you want to follow (sorry, Twitter doesn’t make it possible to mass follow everyone on the list).
Subscribing To The Ad Agency Feed
If you’re a TweetDeck user, use the Subscribe option as a way to easily keep up with what the various agencies are tweeting in a special column.
Go to the list and click the “Subscribe” option in the top left corner:
Next, in TweetDeck, open the option to create a new column and select “Lists,” as shown:
Next, scroll down to find the list under the “Subscribed To” heading, click on it, then click the “Add Column” button:
Now you’ll have a new column with all the agency tweets.
Embed The Feed
You can also view all the tweets via the web by going to the list page here. Tweets can also be embedded into any page. After you’ve subscribed, use the Twitter List Widget to generate your own embed code, or you can use ours below:
<a class=”twitter-timeline” href=”https://twitter.com/Marketingland/ad-agencies” data-widget-id=”411648967126966272″>Tweets from https://twitter.com/Marketingland/ad-agencies</a> <script>!function(d,s,id){var js,fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0],p=/^http:/.test(d.location)?’http’:’https’;if(!d.getElementById(id)){js=d.createElement(s);js.id=id;js.src=p+”://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js”;fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js,fjs);}}(document,”script”,”twitter-wjs”);</script>
That will produce an embed like this:
