Apple held its big Apple Watch event this morning, showing examples of various apps sending notifications and alerts from the iPhone to the device. So what about Google? Possibly, Apple might find some technical reason not to approve a Google Search App for Apple Watch. Equally possible, Google might decide to hold back on offering a Google Search App / Google Now app in order to make its own Android Wear smartwatch platform more attractive.
My bet is that we will see Google Now come to Apple Watch eventually, making our mockup at the top of this article into a reality.
