Wenatchee WA, Deputy Shootout With Man In Parked Truck

Brief Incident Details Leavenworth, Washington (Chelan County). Incident date: March 2, 2016.

Chelan County Sheriff, Deputy Risdon, made contact with Suspect Robert L. Friess (66yrs outdated) as he was sitting in a parked truck. The deputy noticed that the suspect had a firearm in is hand and moved to cowl. The suspect acquired out of the truck and a shootout occurred, with 28 photographs being fired. During the alternate of gunfire, the suspect was struck one time within the hand and the deputy was not hit.

The suspect acquired again into his truck and fled. After a pursuit, crash, and standoff, the suspect surrendered and was taken into custody.
