Reddit user pete617 reported yesterday that Twitter is no longer developing its Google Glass app.

Originally launching its Glassware app in May of 2013, Twitter’s decision to discontinue the app puts a spotlight on Google Glass’s longevity – or, lack thereof. How popular is Glass if such a major social network chooses to pull its support?
Reddit user Sarah Price, who identifies herself on Reddit as part of the Glass Community Team, joined the conversation, trying to quell any fears Glass users may have about its future
“To be fair, developing for Glass has changed a lot since the Twitter Glassware was first released,” wrote Price, “Back then, we only had the Mirror API. Now just last week, we released Notification Sync (which uses Wear APIs) and is another solution to getting your tweets on Glass.”
Price went on to claim that everyone at the Glass headquarters was still “very excited” about the next release of Google Glass.
