Twitter today announced that its self-service ad platform is now available in Australia.
The feature, targeted at small and medium businesses, enables advertisers to target specific business goals, such as leads, sales, videos views and website traffic, and is now available in 21 countries.
In a blog post announcing the launch, Twitter said Australian SMBs are already using Twitter effectively:
SMBs in Australia already leverage Twitter in creative and impactful ways that help them to acquire new customers and drive sales. In fact, a recent internal study of Australian Twitter users showed that 70% of survey respondents feel better about an SMB after following them and reading their Tweets. Most importantly, after discovering an SMB on Twitter, the research shows the consumers take actions that have a direct business impact, with 62% having purchased something from an SMB because of Twitter.
SMBs in Australia, or any of the supported countries, can get started by creating a Twitter ad account here.
