It’s a pleasure to announce that Tim Peterson has joined Marketing Land’s editorial team as our new Social Media Reporter.
Tim comes to us after almost three years at Advertising Age, where he covered the digital media industry’s biggest companies and broke stories about Amazon, YouTube, Snapchat and others. Prior to that, he spent about a year and a half at Adweek, covering social media and ad tech and reporting on Google, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and others. He’ll continue to cover those same companies as our Social Media Reporter, with an emphasis on breaking stories and publishing in-depth features and analysis.
In addition to traditional reporting, Tim will also be telling stories interactively. He’ll be applying his coding skills to developing widgets and other data implementations to explore and better illustrate topics on his beat.
If you’re attending our upcoming SMX West conference, you’ll have a chance to meet Tim. He’ll also be attending our SocialPro conference later this year.
