Tailwind, the Pinterest-focused marketing and analytics platform, has launched a fully functional product powered by Pinterest’s new Business Insights API. Pinterest announced yesterday that it was providing a digital feed of anonymous customer data to a limited set of social media management providers.
Among that list — Salesforce’s Exact Target Marketing Cloud, Hootsuite, Spredfast, Percolate, Piqora, Curalate — Tailwind is the only company that focuses entirely on Pinterest.

Tailwind v3 expands on existing Pinterest management and marketing capabilities with a number of enhancements including a trending pins view to show which pins have been most viral in a given timeframe, easier ways to engage a brand’s community, more flexible user notification options and a weekly summary dashboard across all of a business’ data. The biggest addition, though, is a comprehensive Domain Monitoring capability to help businesses see which of their images are trending across Pinterest, how users are discussing their brand and which pins are driving their reach.
