When it comes to social logins, Facebook still reigns supreme. Today, customer management suite Gigya released their 2014 Q1 findings on social login preferences. The results feature a whole lot of blue as Facebook is yet again the leader in social web logins, mobile logins — regardless of the industry.
Overall Facebook gained 2% on Google+, upping their overall social login share to 53% of all social logins. While Facebook gained 2 points on Facebook, that gain came at the hands of Yahoo who dropped from 15% in Q4 2013 to 13% this quarter. Twitter is silently getting slaughtered in the log-in field with only 4% of all social logins.
When it comes to mobile, Facebook’s domination continues. Out of all social mobile logins, Facebook owns 62% of the market share, 36 points above their closest competitor Google+ while Twitter is again a distant 3rd with only 6% share.
The study also analyzes the overall social login breakdown by location and industry (all of which also have Facebook in the lead). For the specific industry/location breakdowns, see the official blog post from Gigya.
