Recruit Affiliate Users with a Recruiting Email

It is a good idea to create a general email that you can customize to help in your recruiting efforts. The recruiting email should not be long but it should let the user know why he would want to become your affiliate. Only those users and businesses whose customer bases will benefit from your products should be on your email list. You want to make sure that the recipients of your recruiting email will be able to easily market your products and services to their customers.

Potential affiliates are much more likely to pursue your affiliate program if your email message is personalized and appeals to them on a more personal level. Be sure to include your potential affiliate’s name in the email greeting and use an enticing subject line that contains words like partnership, business proposal, exclusive agreement, etc. The last thing you want your recipients to see is yet another email with a subject that says, "Join my affiliate program." In the body of the email, you should explain to the user how exactly he is a good fit for your affiliate program. It should be clear how your products and services complement your recipients’ products and services and how your two companies can work together. You want to make it clear to your potential affiliates that you are knowledgeable about their businesses and feel that they could profit from becoming a partner with you.

You may also want to offer potential affiliates some type of incentive or bonus for joining your affiliate program. For example, maybe you offer them a better commission structure than your other affiliate users or a $50 sign up bonus if they sign up for your affiliate program within seven days. Not only are you offering an incentive but creating a sense of urgency in your call to action. By carefully crafting your recruiting email, you will likely increase the number of affiliate users because your message will be targeted, include incentives, a sense of urgency and it will be personal.
