Bittorrent shopper, uTorrent, has over 100 million customers. Many of them observed lately that their computer systems had been massively slowed down, and that there was an odd “e” of their menu bars. Turns out they’d put in a program referred to as “Epic Scale,” with out realizing it, via uTorrent. Epic Scale was utilizing their computer systems to mine for Bitcoin. The Resident discusses.
