Free Screenings Of “The Internship” Offered Today For Interns (Or Anyone)

The Internship, the comedy movie where Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson become Google interns, has declared it “National Intern Day” in order to offer interns, or really anyone, a chance to attend a free screening of the film tonight.

The screenings are happening in a variety of US cities and begin at 7:30pm local time. You don’t have to prove your an intern in any way, with the film joking it’s fine if you just know an intern or “can spell the word ‘intern’,” then you can get admitted. But admission is first come, first serve, so show up early.

The Internship posted a list of cities with the free screenings on Facebook, as shown below:

Wait, information about free screenings for a Google-oriented movie is on Facebook? What about Google+? The film did post about the screenings there, as it did with Twitter, but both posts point people over to Facebook rather than sharing the list directly.

Two of us here at Marketing Land have seen the film, which holds up as a great comedy as well as a great promotional vehicle for Google. Check out our reviews below.
