ml_yir_2015_1920x1080_generic

Welcome back to our annual year-in-review coverage! Over the past few weeks, we have been revisiting popular stories from 2015 as we prepare our newsroom for a New Year. A lot has changed over the past 12 months, that’s for sure. Heck, a lot has changed over the past 30 days!

Yes, if there’s anything we know about this industry, it’s how quickly things can evolve. Apps launch, platforms shut down, new metrics matter, certain methods expire. Daily digests like our Marketing Day and SearchCap can help keep us up to speed on digital marketing news as it happens, but on the advent of a New Year, we like to to take a step back and look at the stories our readers found most fascinating over the past year.

In this post, we’ll look specifically at the stories that generated the most combined engagement across Marketing Land’s Facebook page and Twitter feed. (We tip our hat to Simply Measured, a social analytics platform we used to gather these metrics!)

And away we go…
