Would you like to manage your social media campaigns like your calendar? You probably would.
And if you are a Buffer customer, you will be able to do that starting today. The popular social media management dashboard has rolled out a calendar feature that gives social managers a weekly view of their scheduled posts. The feature is available for all paid levels of Buffer, which start at $10 a month.
The calendar is an enhanced Buffer queue that displays and creates posts for Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+ pages and Pinterest. New posts can be created just the way you would add an event on your Outlook or Google calendar. Posts already in the hopper can be rescheduled by dragging them into a new time slot. You can also look back at previous posts made using Buffer, get a quick view of how well they performed and re-share them, if you like, with a click.
It should be a handy feature for social managers who plan their editorial budgets weeks or months in advance. The calendar overview provides a quick look at the pacing of posts in each social network and gives you the ability to adjust on the fly.
