Blockchain-based PC video games distribution platform Ultra.io has announced on Oct. 2 that its first three block producers (BPs) are Bitfinex, EOS Rio and EOS New York.
All three future community maintainers are EOS BPs whereas Bitfinex can be a serious and well-known cryptocurrency trade.
Making the gaming business fairer
Per the announcement, the three entities will assist Ultra optimize its blockchain and can permit the agency to launch its public testnet adopted by the mainnet.
The startup claims that its platform permits the next diploma of equity within the gaming business by using “programmable and instant money, tradability of games and in-game assets with” non-fungible tokens.
Ultra’s chief know-how officer Michael Dunn added:

Our initial technical block producers have worked with us on our chain design, development and performance. We value their trust, expertise and ongoing support.”
Corporate BPs to be introduced
The firm additionally notes that — along with serving to with blockchain optimization — the three technical BPs will even present their experience on company recruitment.
